A thong shot is a picture normally of the lower body region showing showing off the thong hence the name thong shot. Thong shot pictures have come about mainly from girls flirting on the web on the likes of myspace and faceparty where they have a thong shot picture of themselves. They originally come from the adult industry though where film covers used to prohibit more explicit images which doesn't seem to bother them anymore. Don't think if you have your profile on one of these popular community sites that you have to have a thong shot though, most girls profiles don't have them. With the advent of cameras on mobile phones the thong shot has become a pretty common thing for girls to send there partners as it is pretty flirty. There are also websites completely dedicated to the thong shot and mainly have girls submitting images of there thong shot for people to rate in a kind of web poll.
